Coniq – A source of intellectual growth

employees

Before Coniq, I worked in sales for another solutions company and discovered how much technology could help companies create a massive competitive advantage. Keen to support and advise clients in their journey to building value with technology, I believed that a career in Client Success was the right move for me. For that reason, when I noticed that Coniq had an opening, I jumped at it.

During the interview process, I knew I made the right decision.  From speaking to colleagues, Coniq had what I sought: diversity of people. I met the CEO who speaks three languages, people from several countries, and a promise for salsa dancing on Friday evenings. Little did I know just how much diversity was awaiting me and how many learning opportunities I would be presented with due to joining the company.

Fast forward four years, I never knew I would have gained so many new skills and experiences – and this is what makes working at Coniq unique.  At the heart of this uniqueness is its people.  Let me explain.

Coniq employs individuals from more than 50 nationalities, so no calls or meetups are ever the same.  I speak to clients every day who have a range of challenges that I solve with great satisfaction. I get to learn about the latest and most cutting edge, technologies such as how machine learning is used to help retailers engage shoppers. I also gain hands-on experience to develop my managerial skills and share my experiences with new joiners as their Coniq “buddy”.

In addition to the diversity within Coniq, my role has presented me with many varied growth opportunities. The nature of our technology solutions means I get the chance to work with and learn from a wide range of clients (international hubs, renowned shopping centre groups, town centres, etc.) and stakeholders (store managers, shopping centre directors, CEOs and more).

Also, due to Coniq’s collaborative nature and my natural curiosity, I have participated in many cross-functional projects, including setting up an onboarding programme for new joiners, consulting workshops in Abu Dhabi, and writing a data strategy for an international hub.

Aside from my professional growth, I have also benefited from Coniq’s diversity values on a personal level. As a new mum, I require a certain level of flexibility; and Coniq has been wonderful in giving me that trust and flexibility to accommodate this new stage of my life whilst fully supporting me in my professional development.

So, if you are looking to advance your career and be challenged in a good way, Coniq is a great place to work. It’s not all easy, though – the expectation is you will continuously learn and share what you have learned with colleagues and clients. But that’s part of the deal, and it’s worth it.
