Coniq is excited to announce the appointment of our new company chairman, Austen Mulinder. As Coniq continues its global expansion, with a specific focus on US markets, it was key to find a chairman with strong experience in those areas, and within globally renowned retail brands.
Austen has over 30 years of experience working within the retail technology industry and has worked with some of the largest global brands ranging from innovative start-ups to multi-billion-dollar corporations.
Austen’s executive experience includes Fujitsu, where he led and developed the global retail strategy as CEO and President of Fujitsu Transaction Solutions. At Microsoft, among multiple accountabilities as Corporate Vice President, he built up and delivered long-term business with the company’s Top 100 Global Clients at the most senior levels. As CEO at Ziosk, Austen founded a start-up that created the market for customer-facing tabletop tablets. Within three years, over 60 million customers a month sat at a table served by Ziosk, processing billions of dollars in annual transactions.
Responding to the question “What attracted you to Coniq ?” Austen said,
As a British-born national, Austen has gained much of his experience in the USA, which complements Coniq’s commitment to our own growth goals in that region, as well as more generally the continued innovation we apply to our world-class Customer Engagement solutions.
Ben Chesser, CEO, and Founder of Coniq said,
We welcome Austen to our board and look forward to his insights and support to help Coniq further shape the future of customer engagement for retail destinations and shopping malls around the world.
